KIANDRA POLL MERINOS
Kiandra Poll Merino is located north of Bordertown, after it was relocated by the Kluska’s from Lock on the Eyre Peninsula in 2005. The stud is run under commercial conditions in conjunction with a cropping program and 2025 sees the 30th on-property sale of Kiandra rams. Today Kiandra poll merino is run by Ryan and Sarah Kluska.
The stud now uses Australian sheep breeding values with thorough visual assessment to breed an easy care sheep, with early growth, positive eye muscle and fat.
Long term clients achieve 7 to 7.5 kg ewe fleece weights and 110 to 120% weaning rates.
Our goal is to breed profitable, plain bodied sheep that are trait leaders on the SM index whilst being structurally sound.
